Join BioNTX and the UT Tyler School of Medicine for the second annual symposium on Building a Life Science Entrepreneurial Ecosystem. This event highlights groundbreaking biomedical research and explores key topics like intellectual property, funding strategies, and entrepreneurial success stories. Gain insights into the region’s growing life science industry and its impact on innovation and healthcare.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. To acquire knowledge about why Tyler is the location for new biotech opportunities. The learner will gain insights from industry experts on the advantages of building a business in the area and how they have achieved success.
  2. To acquire knowledge concerning the challenges in the research process and the role of entrepreneurship in navigating biotech development and IP complexities to drive innovation and accelerate commercialization.
  3. To gain insight into the critical role of technology transfer and licensing in Tyler’s growing biotech sector, and how these processes drive innovation, bridge research and commercialization, and create new business opportunities in Tyler's biotech landscape.

Accreditation
The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler is accredited by the Texas Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
