1. Review epidemiology, risk factors, and evolving microbiology of CAP, with insights into resistance patterns and emerging pathogens.
2. Discuss diagnostic and treatment strategies, including the role of biomarkers, antimicrobial selection, and stewardship principles.
3. Identify complications, managing treatment failures, and criteria for escalation of care, including ICU admission.
