The Department of Medical Education aims to provide high-quality educational activities designed to enhance physicians' commitment to lifelong learning. The ultimate goal is to promote and further the practice of evidence-based and cost-effective healthcare in keeping with the Health Center's mission to provide excellent patient care.

The Department of Medical Education and its CME office sponsor and coordinate a wide range of innovative continuing educational activities, including numerous regularly scheduled series (Grand Rounds, Cancer Conference, Pediatric Grand Rounds, etc.), plus additional symposia and other live outreach educational activities throughout the year.
